GOLD FILLED JEWELRY

Gold filled jewelry is composed of a solid layer of gold bonded with heat and pressure to a base metal such as brass. Gold filled items are 50 to 100,000 times thicker than regular gold plating, and 17 to 25,000 times thicker than heavy gold electroplate. Even with daily wear, gold filled items can last up to 30 years with the proper care.

14K GOLD FILLED CHAIN
Using your fingers, gently rub a mild dish washing liquid mixed with water over your chain. Be sure not to get charm wet if plated. Rinse chain well and lay on a towel to dry.

GOLD & SILVER PLATED
Use a damp cloth, i.e. hand towel and gently wipe down after multiple wears. Use a clean towel to dry. Cleaning pieces often will prevent items from fading and help keep shine while removing signs of wear.

GENERAL CARE

All items are handmade and should be handled with care when wearing and putting on/ taking off. While I do my best to ensure items are made to a high quality standard, to ensure longevity it is important that delicate pieces are treated gently.

In order to maintain quality of all pieces, be sure to apply products, i.e.: perfume, lotions, make-up and/or hair products prior to putting on jewelry and allow time to absorb.

Removing pieces before showering, swimming, working out, cleaning, etc will help to make sure your jewelry lasts over time.

Storing your jewelry with like items will also help with any potential tarnishing of metals.
